Check out my first crop of oyster mushrooms from my Back to the Roots kit, which uses spent coffee grounds from Peet’s Coffee to grow gourmet fungi. Once I harvest the mushrooms, I can recycle the cardboard box and spread the coffee grounds in my garden to amend the soil.

If you have a garden, this is for you! Usually you should eat every single part of your vegetables and fruits, so that you have no left overs. But when you do, let these nutrients go back to nature. Give it to the worms who will break it down and distribute it in the earth. 
It is a great way to spread compost into your garden, so easy and creative!
